The jury described Golf Voyager as a “truly innovative company in the travel technology” sector, while judge Philip C. Wolf, the pioneer of Travel 2.0, founder and retired chairman of PhoCusWright, described managing director Conor Galvin’s algorithm capability, as “way ahead”.
The Limerick-based company also announced a partnership with Padraig Harrington. The three-time Major champion will join Golf Voyager as its first brand ambassador
Conor Galvin said: “We are so delighted to have our technology recognised at this level. ITB China is the marketplace for China’s travel industry and will give us enormous exposure in the Asian market.
“It will firmly positon our company and our technology in the minds of the investor community and enable us to pitch for the level of investment we need to move our business to the next stage of our development strategy. We will shortly move into the Portuguese market, mainland Europe, Britain and the Americas.”
