Irish tourism visits to Spain were up 20.1pc year on year in February 2024 to 132,954 and, for the first two months in the year, up 23.6pc to 279,622.
Overall tourism to Spain is up 15.6pc for the first two months of the year.
Spain is Ireland’s favourite holiday destination with 2,477,429 visits in 2023, a figure that could rise to close to 3m in 2024 if current trends continue.
