Kildare Fáilte elects new Hon Sec and board member at AGM in Naas

Yesterday’s AGM of Kildare Failte took place in the fourth floor courtroom at the newly revamped Lawlor’s Hotel in Naas. 

Chair of Kildare county Council Joe Neville and Travel Extra’s Eoghan Corry addressed the event. Áine Mangan reflected on activities of the year which included the Brigid 1500 festival and the three day Taste of Kildare festival at Naas racecourse 

Anne O’Keeffe retired from her position as secretary, with Veronica Cook steeping in as her replacement. 

Michael Davern, a long-standing board member, has moved to Scotland as GM of the Seaton House Saint Andrews five star hotel, creating an additional vacancy.

Veronica Cook and Mary Fannin Byrne were nominated as new members of the board.
