
Galway International Arts Festival (has released details of the lineup from July 15 to July 28.
The event includes seven world premieres, new visual arts Festival commission, and its largest ever music programme featuing performances at Heineken Big Top, Róisín Dubh, Monroe’s, and St. Nicholas’s Church. It includes
- A street Art Programme with Planet Vapeur, Guru Duru, and Les P’Tits Bras, Festival Garden in Eyre Square
- Comedy lineup with Deirdre O’Kane, Mc Gerry Mallon, Randy Feltface, and Phil Ellis
- Highlights of the festival include theatre shows such as the world premiere of Reunion by Mark O’Rowe, exhibitions and talks, including a showcase by Australian sculptor Patricia Piccinini
