
Liquidators have been appointed for Loch Lomond Seaplanes following its cessation of trading on April 11, 2025. The Dumbarton Sheriff Court appointed Kenneth Robert Craig of Begbies Traynor as liquidator on June 4 after a petition was filed by HMRC.
A notice on the company’s website confirms it has ceased trading and that communication will be made with affected ticket holders.
Loch Lomond Seaplanes, founded in 2003, suspended its operations and operating licence in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic before relaunching in 2022.
The company had ambitions to expand its fleet with at least two electric seaplanes from Fremont Group Management.
Loch Lomond Seaplanes shared, “We suspended operations and our operating licence in 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic. We had planned to expand our fleet with at least two electric seaplanes from Fremont Group Management. Someone would be in touch in the near future to assist affected ticket holders.”
