LOT Polish Airlines has initiated cabin upgrades with the arrival of its first RECARO Aircraft Seating products as part of an order for around 14,000 seats. The lightweight R2 seats, designed for the new Boeing 737 MAX 8 and Airbus A220 aircraft, will support fuel efficiency and lower CO₂ emissions.
Key features of the new seats include six-way adjustable headrests, contoured backrests, extended armrests, device holders, and power outlets for fast charging.
This retrofit is part of a larger fleet-wide interior redesign influenced by the airline’s Polonez business lounges located in Warsaw and Chicago. The refreshed cabin design aims to provide comfort and visual coherence, aligning with the styling of LOT’s Boeing 787 Dreamliners.
