Francesco Sciortino will join the Executive Board of Lufthansa Airlines and become Hub Manager for Frankfurt on September 1, 2025.
Klaus Froese will transition to the Boeing 747 fleet as a captain after serving as the interim Hub Manager for Frankfurt.
Heiko Reitz will assume the role of Hub Manager for Munich on September 1, 2025, while Jens Ritter will focus on the consistent implementation of the turnaround program as CEO.
Lufthansa introduced two Hub Managers at the beginning of 2025 to improve operational processes at both Frankfurt and Munich locations.
Operational stability, punctuality, and customer satisfaction have improved significantly since the introduction of the new Hub Managers.
