Marriott aims to expand its Moxy Hotels portfolio to 100 properties in Europe by the end of 2025, celebrating the brand’s tenth anniversary this year since its inception in 2014.
The Moxy brand currently has 135 hotels in 25 countries, with recent openings including Moxy Bangkok Ratchaprasong and a 129-room property at Luxembourg Airport.
By the end of next year, 17 new Moxy hotels are expected to open in Europe, including the brand’s first location in Spain, Moxy Barcelona, which features a rooftop pool and fitness centre.
Upcoming openings in 2025 include locations in cities such as Annecy, Nice, Pompeii, and Zurich, as Marriott focuses on stylish and affordable hospitality experiences in well-suited destinations.
The 157 bedroom Moxy Dublin City in Sackville Place off O’Connell Street opened in 2019.
