Russian forces intercepted over 100 Ukrainian drones targeting nearly a dozen regions in Russia, causing all four airports around Moscow to suspend flights temporarily.

According to the Defence Ministry, nine additional regional airports also halted operations due to the drone attacks affecting areas near the Ukrainian border and further inland.

The response from Russian authorities, including civil aviation agency Rosaviatsia, aimed to maintain security and manage flight disruptions caused by the attacks.

The attacks occurred on a Tuesday and showcase the ongoing aerial confrontations that have escalated in the region.
