MSC Cruises has cancelled its planned 2026-27 season in the Middle East for the MSC World Europa. The LNG-powered ship will instead deploy to the Caribbean where it will replace the MSC Seaview and offer seven- to 14-night itineraries from Martinique and Guadeloupe. The vessel will visit destinations including Saint Lucia, Grenada, St. Maarten, Antigua and Dominica.
The MSC Seaview will be redeployed to South America and will become the company’s fifth ship in that region with itineraries to Brazil and Argentina. Guests booked on the cancelled MSC World Europa sailings in the Arabian Gulf have been contacted and offered options including rebooking or full refunds. The MSC Seaview sailings from the French Antilles remain unchanged.
MSC has confirmed it plans to return to the Arabian Gulf during the 2027-28 winter season with itineraries covering Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sir Bani Yas, Bahrain and Doha.
MSC Cruises shared in a written statement “The adjustment offers guests a perfect winter-sun experience in one of the world’s most desirable warm-weather destinations. This reinforces our commitment to offer diverse choices across our global portfolio.”
