Fincantieri confirmed its Letter of Intent with Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, initially announced on April 8, 2024, by finalising a firm order for four new cruise ships.
These ships will weigh approximately 226,000 gross tons, making them the largest ever constructed for the Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) brand.
The construction will take place at Fincantieri’s Monfalcone shipyard, with delivery dates set for 2030, 2032, 2034, and 2036.
Each ship will accommodate over 8,300 passengers and crew and feature more than 5,100 berths, joining Fincantieri’s previous builds, including Norwegian Prima and Norwegian Viva.
