The new Disney Adventure has embarked on its first set of sea trials in the Baltic and North Seas, currently at the MV Werften shipyard.
Over 1,400 workers are onboard the ship, which is scheduled for delivery to Disney Cruise Line in late September 2025. A second set of sea trials is expected later this month.
The Disney Adventure will see testing of technology and systems while sailing to another German port, Bremerhaven. The week-long trials are also said to include a technical visit to Rügen, an island on the Baltic coast of Germany.
The Disney Adventure, the largest ship in Disney’s fleet, will offer three- and four-night cruises from Singapore starting December 15, 2025. Disney Cruise Line will also launch the LNG-powered Disney Destiny, scheduled for its inaugural voyage in November 2025 from Fort Lauderdale.
