Ryanair Group CEO Michael O’Leary warned that a prolonged strike by Boeing workers could further reduce the number of aircraft Ryanair receives by next summer from 25 to as few as 20.

Originally, Ryanair was set to receive 30 737 MAX aircraft before summer 2025, but operational issues had already decreased that number to 25.

Boeing is facing challenges with operational output and supply chain issues, and it will take an estimated two to three years for the company to fully address these problems, with negotiations between Boeing and union representatives resuming next week.

Mr O’Leary said “I have no doubt that Boeing will fix this strike.”It may take a number of weeks, and impact delivery schedules.”
