Rebecca Kelly has been promoted at MSC Cruises in an expansion of its Irish operation. And Alana Byrne joins Rebecca and Regional Sales Representative Erica Oglesby in the Irish team.
“I’m delighted with it – it’s Head of Ireland,” Rebecca Kelly, who will be reporting into British-based Steve Williams, told Travel Extra. MSC said Rebecca has been the key to building the brand into Ireland’s “market-leading cruise line”.

Rebecca Kelly, who has worked for MSC for 10 years, has been promoted following a record year in Ireland for the cruise line in 2017.
Antonio Paradiso, Managing Director for the British and Irish markets, said “it’s such an exciting time at MSC Cruises – our sales team continues to expand at a rapid pace … and shows are absolute commitment to supporting and developing our trade relationships.”
Rebecca Kelly said that “after such an incredible year for MSC, I’m thrilled to be recognised in this new role. The trade’s support has been spectacular, we have an even more exciting year ahead and I cannot wait to grow the team and continue supporting our partners.”
The line will host more than 400 agents and guests on board MSC Meraviglia this weekend when the ship, the biggest ever to port in Dublin and Cobh, makes its maiden calls here.
