The vessels served as entry points for Antarctica expeditions. The lineup comprised expedition ships and premium vessels from operators such as Atlas Ocean, Lindblad-National Geographic, Princess Cruises, Quark, and Swan Hellenic.

Arrivals occurred between December 26 and December 28, 2025, boosting local economic activity. Ushuaia’s Tourism Authority noted the port’s role as a key tourist hub in Argentina. Over 4,700 visitors explored Tierra del Fuego National Park during the period, including 4,200 foreign tourists and 500 from Argentina.

A minor collision involving Viking Octantis and Atlas Ocean’s World Voyager occurred on January 6 due to stormy conditions, with no major damage reported. Both ships continued their itineraries as planned.
