Sarah Brady. Business Development Manager Barters Travelnet. won the travel agent of the year award at the ITTN awards in the Clayton Burlington Road.
Cassidy Travel won the travel agency of the year at the awards, which seated 411 guests at an event hosted by ITTN[‘s Sharon Jordan.
The other agency awards were won by Best4Travel (cruise), Club travel (corporate), Fahy Travel (touring), KT Travel (sun), O’Hanrahan Travel (ski), Platinum Travel (luxury) and Travel Counsellors (long haul).
The supplier of the Year award was won by Accident & General. Other supplier awards were won by Aer Lingus (two awards, airline to Europe & N America) , APT Travelmarvel (river cruise), ASM Ireland (best trade representation), Blue Insurance (insurance provider), Celebrity (premium ocean cruise), Dublin Airport (airport), Emirates (two awards, business class & long haul), Barcelona based H10 hotels (hotel group), Hertz (car rental provider), HX (expedition cruise), Irish Ferries (ferry company), MSC (ocean cruise), New York (USA destination), Portugal (European destination) , Royal Caribbean (family cruise), Silversea (luxury ocean cruise), Spain (tourist board), Sunway holidays (two awards, sun tour operator and escorted tour operator), TBO Bookabed (accommodation provider), Thailand (worldwide destination), TravelTTC, The Travel Corporation (leaders in sustainability), and Uniworld (luxury river cruise).
