Spanish pilots union Sepla has moved to create inter-union alliance at Aer LIngus parent airline group IAG, with the aim of improving representation and defend the rights and working conditions of pilots within the consortium.

This alliance will enhance dialogue between workers and IAG to promote company growth and create more professional development opportunities for pilots.

The initiative is led by Sepla’s company councils at Iberia and Vueling, with plans to invite other union sections from IAG airlines to join the alliance.

The alliance marks a new era for Sepla, emphasizing the need for coordination and cooperation among pilots in the changing aviation landscape, moving away from traditional union structures towards a more modern approach.
