Thailand launches celebrity-driven campaign to boost 2026 global image

Thailand is deploying a high-profile celebrity and influencer strategy through the Tourism Authority of Thailand’s (TAT) “Thailand Co-Creator” programme, featuring Blackpink’s LISA alongside over 20 Thai and international creators to promote authentic narratives and wellness-focused storytelling. 

Following creator journeys in late January, global content rollout begins in February, building on the recent appointment of Thai star Mean Phiravich as lead ambassador. The initiative aims to enhance Thailand’s appeal amid rising competition in Asian tourism markets.
