Five luxury travel agents from France are exploring Ireland this week, hosted by Tourism Ireland and Fáilte Ireland.
The programme aims to enhance the travel agents’ knowledge of Ireland’s luxury offerings for better client recommendations.
Ana Luis, Tourism Ireland’s Trade Partnership Manager France, expressed delight in showcasing Ireland’s luxury tourism during this visit.
The agents are inspecting top hotels like The Europe Hotel & Resort and Sheen Falls Lodge, alongside cultural experiences such as demonstrations at Bunratty Castle.
Activities include a whiskey tasting, a guided tour of Coolmore Stud, and an exclusive tour of the Museum of Literature Ireland.
Ana Luis, Tourism Ireland’s Trade Partnership Manager France, said: “Tourism Ireland was delighted to invite this group of specialist luxury travel agents to visit Ireland, to experience at first-hand some of our luxury tourism offering, including our boutique hotels and high-end resorts. Seeing is believing – and our aim is that when they return home, they will be even more enthusiastic about the destination, helping to secure a greater share of their business for Ireland. Our focus on winning a greater share of the French luxury travel market aligns with our ambition to deliver increased overseas tourism revenue.”
