Tourism Ireland’s French Marketing Partnership Group visit Killaloe

Members of Tourism Ireland’s French Marketing Partnership Group have visited Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands.

Their itinerary included a walking tour in Killaloe, a river cruise, and visits to Brookfield Farm, Birr Castle Demesne, and Tullamore D.E.W. Distillery.

Tourism Ireland aims to boost business in Irish regions this year through initiatives such as the ‘twinning’ programme, connecting overseas markets with specific areas in Ireland. The MPG consists of French tour operators and online travel agencies.

Ana Luis of Tourism Ireland shared, “We were delighted to welcome members of our French Marketing Partnership Group for an immersive and experiential session about the potential ahead in Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands. Seeing is believing – so visits like this are extremely important to continue to build awareness of Ireland and our excellent tourism offering among key French travel trade partners.”
