Travel Centres has led 14 member agents on a four-day familiarisation trip to the Alentejo region of Portugal.
The group experienced the coastline and seafood of Porto Covo, the history and architecture of Beja and Evora, and wines from Geracoes da Talha in Vila de Frades.
They stayed at the Alcacer do Sal Pousada, Porto Covo Praia hotel and M’Ar de Ar Aqueduto hotel.
Participants explored the region’s wines fermented in large earthenware jars that each hold over 1,000 litres. Carlos Oliveira from Visit Portugal and Cindy Dos Santos from TAP Air Portugal hosted the group.
