Turkish Airlines to expand to 400 destinations by 2033

Turkish Airlines has started flights from Istanbul to Detroit, the largest city in Michigan.

Starting from December 25, 2023, Turkish Airlines plans to increase the frequency to four flights per week.

Turkish Airlines already serves 12 other destinations within the United States and has a global network of 345 destinations.

Celebrating its 90th anniversary this year, Turkish Airlines has set ambitious targets for the future, including doubling its fleet from around 400 to over 800 aircraft by 2033.

The airline aims to serve 170m passengers annually and expand its network to over 400 destinations by 2033.

Turkish Airlines aims for consolidated revenue of over US$50bn by 2033 and to contribute US$140bn to Türkiye’s economy by the same year.
