Two Endeavor Air jets, operated by Delta Air Lines, collided on a taxiway at LaGuardia Airport on 1 October at 21:58. Flight 5047, arriving from Charlotte with 57 passengers, and Flight 5155, departing for Roanoke with 28 passengers, sustained damage. The FAA and NTSB are investigating, with no impact on other airport operations.
One flight attendant sustained a non-life-threatening knee injury. The collision caused no disruptions to other LaGuardia operations.
A Delta spokesperson shared: “We are fully cooperating with the FAA and NTSB investigations into the low-speed taxiway collision at LaGuardia, ensuring passenger support throughout.”
