United Airlines is constructing Concourse E at Washington Dulles International Airport, costing over half a billion dollars and set to open in late 2026, featuring 14 dedicated gates and a large United Club lounge.

The concourse will provide easy access to the airport’s Aerotrain station, part of a multi-phase project for United’s growth at Dulles, with a new Inflight Training Centre opening next year.

United plans to increase daily departures from Dulles to nearly 280 by April 2025 and has announced a significant international expansion for summer 2025, including new routes to Nice, Venice, and Dakar.

United has invested more than $32bn across its business since 2021, with similar investments at airport facilities in Denver, Houston, and Newark, reflecting its commitment to growth and world-class service.
