US government awards $1bn to 100 airports for baggage & security systems

The US government has awarded $1bn in Bipartisan Infrastructure Law grants to more than 100 airports to fund new baggage systems and bigger security checkpoints.

The TSIA says this will help modernise terminals, improving the travel experience and build safer airports.
