Utah-based Breeze airways considering Dublin direct flights to Salt Lake city

Breeze Airways, based in Salt Lake Cityis looking at the feasibility of direct flights from Dublin to Salt Lake City. The airline, has applied for flag carrier status with the US FAA, a crucial step for launching international operations, “with an eye on Ireland.” 

The airline’s founder, Park City based David Neeleman, revealed their intention to launch transatlantic services in the near future, offer transatlantic flights to destinations like Ireland , which are within the range of its A220-300s.

While the specific timeline for securing flag carrier status has not been disclosed, Breeze Airways has been preparing for its international debut. Though no routes have been announced, the carrier aims to cater to leisure markets in the Caribbean and Central America, as well as Ireland.

Breeze Airways currently operates a fleet of ten E190s, seven E195s, and eighteen A220-300s, with an additional 62 on order. Its current focus is on underserved secondary markets across the US, with multiple bases at various airports including Charleston, Hartford, New Orleans, Norfolk, Providence, Provo, Tampa, and White Plains.
