Vietjet has secured an order for twenty A330-900 aircraft, increasing their total firm orders for this model to 40.

The agreement was finalised in Hanoi in the presence of key leaders, including French President Emmanuel Macron.

This expansion is set to support Vietjet’s international route growth and long-haul services to Europe.

The airline currently operates an all-Airbus fleet with 115 A320 Family aircraft and seven A330-300s.

A330neo’s advanced capabilities include efficient fuel consumption and the potential for 100% Sustainable Aviation Fuel by 2030.
