The 2025 Samhain Symposium will take place on 7 November at Headfort Arms Hotel in Kells, County Meath, themed Harvesting Connections.
Ella McSweeney hosts with Ruth Hegarty delivering the keynote on pathways to an integrated national food policy. Panel includes Michelle Darmody, Siobhán Ní Ghairbhith of St Tola Goats Cheese, and Kevin Sheridan of Sheridans Cheesemongers.
Attendees join round table discussions for producers, policymakers, educators, researchers, and community voices. The event launches Ireland’s first online directory of artisan food producers with Sheridans Irish Food Fair returning for vendor applications.
