
The 30th annual meeting of The Wexford Traditional Singers Circle took place over a weekend, attracting attendees from various locations, including far-flung areas.
The event kicked off on Friday at Cushen’s of Tagoat, continued at St Martin’s GAA clubhouse in Piercestown on Saturday, and concluded with evening sessions at The Farmers Kitchen hotel in Drinagh, followed by a closing noon session on Sunday.
The gathering featured music, songs, storytelling, and new song collection launch by Colm Brennan, with notable attendees like Larry Dunne, Alberta Lathan from Indianapolis, Indiana, and musicians from regions like Wexford, Donegal, and performers such as Rita Gallagher, Niall Wall, Senan Lillis, and Matt Murphy.
