According to the Government Press Office, a total of 38 representatives of the State will be visiting 86 cities in 48 countries for St Patrick’s Day celebrations.

  • Taoiseach Leo Varadkar will travel to Washington DC and Boston, USA.
  • Tánaiste Micheál Martin will visit Canada.
  • Green Party leader Eamon Ryan will go to Brazil.
  • Finance Minister Michael McGrath will travel to Canada.
  • Public Expenditure Minister Paschal Donohoe will travel to France and Bulgaria.
  • Enterprise Minister Simon Coveney will travel to India and Bangladesh.
  • Education Minister Norma Foley will visit England.
  • Tourism Minister Catherine Martin will travel to Nashville, Tennessee, and Austin, Texas, in the USA.
  • Housing Minister Darragh O’Brien will travel to South Africa and Zambia.
  • Social Protection Minister Heather Humphreys will visit Springfield, Chicago, and Madison, Wisconsin, in the USA.
