
Dublin will feature specially branded buses and Luas trams for the 10th annual Transport Research Arena (TRA) conference, taking place at the RDS from April 15-18, which is the EU’s principal research and innovation event in mobility.
The biennial conference, pivotal for international transport mobility stakeholders, attracts over 4,000 attendees and aligns with the European Green Deal objectives, discussing advancements in sustainable and inclusive mobility.
The TRA agenda includes a broad spectrum of topics like connected vehicles, sustainable fuels, and battery technology, with significant participation from EU commissioners and the Irish Minister for the Environment, alongside industry leaders like Cubic Telecom and Klas Group.
TRA also invites early-stage companies to demonstrate innovative solutions, coinciding with parallel EU road safety and automated driving conferences, enhancing Dublin’s reputation as a hub for mobility innovation and research.
Ireland is known as a leader in mobility, with companies such as CitySwift, Xerotech, Plasma Bound, Taoglas, Ventac and Zeus all currently making waves in the export markets. Plenary speakers include:
