
Click&Go Holidays survey reveals that 51pc of Irish holidaymakers plan to book their 2025 trip by the year’s end, with 17pc already booked and 34pc intending to book soon.
In summer 2024, 89pc of respondents took at least one holiday, with the majority preferring sun holidays (84pc), and an increasing interest in cruises noted as the fastest-growing holiday type.
Holiday costs have risen by an average of 8pc in 2024, influenced by an 11pc increase in accommodation and a 7pc rise in airfares; 59pc of parents are willing to take children out of school to save costs.
For 2025, 75pc of survey respondents are researching their holiday options, with 78pc planning sun holidays, highlighting the ongoing demand for value in travel choices, according to Click&Go Holidays’ CEO Paul Hackett.
