
Tourism Ireland and six Irish tourism companies participated in the Travel News Market in Stockholm to promote and sell Ireland to Swedish tour operators and travel agents.
The participating companies were:
- A Touch of Ireland
- Burren Smokehouse
- Jameson Distillery
- Office of Public Works
- Titanic Belfast
- Visit Mid Ulster
The one-day B2B event provided an opportunity for the Irish companies to engage in one-to-one appointments with Swedish travel trade and MICE buyers, aiming to secure important contracts for 2024.
Emer Mac Diarmada, Tourism Ireland’s Manager for the Nordic Region, said: “ In 2019, we welcomed 256,000 Nordic visitors, whose visits delivered €116 million for the economy.”
