Optimism remains high, with 74pc of professionals confident about the industry’s health, although expectations have moderated compared to 2024, signaling a more balanced outlook.
Internal meetings are expected to continue being the most frequent type in 2025, with half likely held at hotels and percentages incorporating social activities for networking.
The forecast highlights a shift towards personalized experiences, with 50pc of planners using AI software, 54pc integrating sustainability practices, and location availability emerging as the primary challenge for meeting planning in the coming year.
