The Irish Restaurant Awards announced the start of public nominations for their 16th edition at Amuri Restaurant in Dublin 2 on January 16, 2025, following last year’s record of over 160,000 nominations.
This year, nominations can be made across 23 categories, including the newly introduced Best Use of Social Media award, with the nomination window open from January 15 to January 29, 2025.
The judging process involves two stages: regional judging to determine county winners, followed by a national judging phase to choose overall winners, culminating in regional announcements during March and April.

- Munster – Tuesday 25th March, Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Little Island, County Cork
- Ulster – Tuesday 1st April, Hillgrove Hotel, Old Armagh Road, County Monaghan
- Connacht – Tuesday 8th April, Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Rosses Point, County Sligo
- All Ireland Final– Monday 19th May, Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road, Dublin
