Fáilte Ireland hosted a Destination Sligo Networking Event at the Clayton Hotel Sligo, attended by over 70 local tourism enterprises to foster collaboration and information sharing.
The event aimed to facilitate networking among accommodation providers and activity attractions to enhance tourism in the northern part of the Wild Atlantic Way, encouraging longer stays and increased spending by visitors.
Earlier this year, Fáilte Ireland launched the Sligo Destination and Experience Development Plan (DEDP), which focuses on creating sustainable tourism and improving employment opportunities in the region.
