Zuri Sky Ltd plans to launch flights between Gatwick and Freetown International Airport in Sierra Leone, although the airline is currently in the early stages of planning.

Interested customers can subscribe to Zuri Sky’s website for exclusive updates and a 10pc discount on their first ticket once bookings commence.

No specific timeline or details about the aircraft to be used for the proposed service have been released as of now.

The proposed route aims to enhance connectivity and provide greater travel opportunities for Sierra Leoneans, English residents, and international travellers while promoting tourism in Sierra Leone.

Zuri Sky’s director, Mina Nozari, describes Sierra Leone as the “Caribbean of West Africa” and expresses the intent to showcase its natural beauty to a broader audience.
