Global Ports Holding has received a 30 year concession from the Port Authority of Ferrol San Cibrao for the construction and operation of a new cruise terminal at Ferrol in northwest Spain. The concession covers 960 square metres on the Outer Breakwater Wharf and proceeds in two phases. The first phase includes a 480 square metre terminal building.

GPH plans to submit the construction project within three months and begin works within six months subject to approvals. A mobile facility will support additional calls. The development follows modern energy efficiency and environmental standards.

Annual passenger volumes at Ferrol Cruise Port are projected to rise from around 23000 in 2026 to 80000 by 2034.
