Aramark Ireland has celebrated the medal success of Daniel O’Brien, a Front of House team member at Siemens Healthineers in Swords, following his performance at the 2026 Special Olympics Ireland Summer Games. Daniel secured three medals in swimming events, including gold in the 50m Freestyle, gold in a relay event, and bronze in the 25m Backstroke. He also received a Special Recognition Award for his kindness, respect, positive spirit and encouragement of fellow competitors.
Daniel joined Aramark Ireland through a multi-agency inclusive employment initiative, partnering with WorkAbility Fingal LEADER Partnership and Prosper Fingal. The programme helps individuals with intellectual disabilities build confidence, develop skills and secure sustainable career opportunities. Jason Keegan, Regional Vice President of Workplace Solutions for Aramark Ireland, applauded Daniel’s focus and dedication, stating his performance reflects the same commitment he brings to his professional role.
