Popeyes has confirmed its newest Dublin restaurant will open at Dundrum Town at 11am on Friday 11 September, marking the Louisiana-style chicken brand’s fourth venue in Ireland and third location in Dublin. The opening forms part of wider plans to increase outlets across the country and create local employment in hospitality, with the new branch bringing approximately 60 jobs to the Dundrum area. The outlet will serve the brand’s signature shatter crunch chicken and related menu items, adding to the growing presence of international quick service brands in suburban Dublin locations.
The first three customers will enjoy free Chicken Sandwiches for a year, with the first 100 customers receiving a free Chicken Sandwich and the first 50 walking away with exclusive Popeyes merchandise. Queuing is expected to start from 9am on Sandyford Road, with previous openings in Blanchardstown and Liffey Valley attracting large crowds. The restaurant joins existing Irish outlets at Blanchardstown Centre, Liffey Valley Shopping Centre and the Applegreen Midway service station in Laois.
Popeyes continues its Irish expansion following earlier openings, with the Louisiana-style chicken brand building on its international presence in the Irish market. The opening represents a significant addition to Dundrum Town’s food and beverage offering, with the centre already hosting a range of restaurant and cafe options. The brand’s signature menu items have attracted strong demand at previous Irish locations.
