Shannon Aviation Museum has scheduled its Open Cockpit Day for 24 October 2026. The event provides visitors with the opportunity to view historic aircraft and examine cockpits that are normally off-limits.
The museum is located beside Shannon Airport and hosts a collection of Irish and international aviation heritage including aircraft cockpits engines artefacts and memorabilia. Highlights include Irish Air Corps aircraft a BAC One-Eleven cockpit an English Electric Lightning cockpit and a SEPECAT Jaguar cockpit.
