AMTD IDEA Group, AMTD Digital and The Generation Essentials Group have announced the completion of a $209,766,000 transaction consolidating four premium hotel assets under TGE. The transfer closed on 2 November 2026 and was settled entirely through newly issued TGE Class A ordinary shares rather than cash. The deal was agreed on 21 October 2026.

The transaction consolidated controlling interests in four international properties into TGE. The properties include AMTD IDEA Tribeca Hotel in New York with 100pc ownership interest, AMTD Dao By Dorsett Hornsey in London with 100pc ownership interest, Upper Regalia in Kuala Lumpur with 80pc ownership interest and The Ritz-Carlton Perth in Australia with 50pc equity interest.

The consideration was settled via 198,630,381 newly issued TGE Class A ordinary shares priced at approximately $1.056 per share. Post-transaction, AMTD Digital holds 88.2pc of TGE’s share capital while AMTD IDEA Group beneficially owns 95.6pc. The transaction anchors TGE’s lifestyle and media portfolio with a centralised hospitality platform.
