Food on the Edge returns for its eighth year on October 16th and 17th at Airfield Estate in Dundrum, Ireland.

The theme of this year’s event is Storytelling, with a focus on personal takes from speakers across Ireland and the world.

Notable speakers include Elena Reygadas, the World’s Best Female Chef, who will discuss the connection between chefs and the natural world, and Fatmata Binta, a modern nomadic chef exploring West African cuisine’s diaspora.

Ahmet Dede will talk about Turkish fusion spiced-based cooking and the fusion of Turkish and Irish foods, while Andoni Luis Aduriz and Pietro Carlo Pezzati will share their culinary perspectives.

Maynooth born chef JP McMahon, founder of Food On The Edge said “the speakers always bring wonderful enthusiasm and energy to the stage. A few people I am looking forward to hearing on stage are – Máirtín Mac Con Iomaire, Dan Cox , Andrea Petrini, Shauna & Mark Froydenlund and Aditi Dugar.”
