Oceans Twelve: Sixty new cruise ships on order between now and 2036

The global cruise ship orderbook has reached 60 new ships scheduled for delivery through 2036, with an average price of just over $760m and an average capacity of 2,346 passengers. propelled by Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings’ significant newbuild contract with Fincantieri in April.

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings added eight new ships to the orderbook, comprising two for Oceania, two for Regent, and four for Norwegian Cruise Line, with higher per berth prices for the Oceania and Regent vessels compared to previous classes.

Windstar is anticipating the arrival of its first new ship in over 30 years, the Star Seeker from West Sea in Portugal in 2025, originally intended for Mystic’s U.S. brand in Atlas Ocean Voyages.
