
Royal Caribbean showcased their new agent incentive scheme at the Travel Centres conference in Naas with increased payouts for bookings.
Agents can now earn €15 for €2k bookings, €30 for €5k, €60 for €10k, €150 for €25k, and €500 for €50k bookings.
John Booty provided updates on the new features of the Amplified Allure of the Seas, including attractions like Ultimate Abyss and laser tag.
- Adventures updates include Ultimate Abyss, Royal Escape, room and laser tag.
- Dining updates feature The Mason Jar and the Royal favourite, Playmaker sports bar and arcade and the arrival of the Pesky Parrot, a popular bar across Royal Caribbean ships.
- Pool deck updates include The Lime and Coconut, Splash Away Bay, The Perfect Storm, and El Loco Fresh, as well as Wipe Out Bar and Shaved Ice.
- Accommodations upgrades include the panoramic suite.
Mr Booty told delegates: For the Royal Caribbean group, for Celebrity, Silversea, and Royal—2025 is going to be amazing! For 2024, we’re up 28pc year-on-year in trade business, and the Irish market is outperforming any other market. The team in Ireland is exceptionally grateful, and for that, we thank you.
Jennifer is heading to Miami tomorrow with 12 top sellers, nine of whom are from the Irish market. So, as you can imagine, we’re not very popular in England right now, and we do not apologise for it!
Our brand new loyalty programme, Upper Deck, is absolutely brilliant. It’s probably one of the best incentive programs I’ve seen, and it’s uncapped. As you can see, the leading incentive is 15% on a €2,000 cruise booking, and it can go as high as €500 if you’re booking a cruise of €50,000 or more. It’s very, very easy. Anyone who is already registered in the program and is part of our incentive program doesn’t have to change anything; they don’t have to do anything—this is already in place.
