Val Murphy of celebrity shared details of the Celebrity Summer 2026 Headlines including
- Excel’s Inaugural Barcelona Athens programme
- Ascent brings back the Rome programme
- Eclipse starts new Adriatic and Greece programmes
- Six more Iceland sailings
- Summer Japan out of the new Tokyo city terminal
Val Murphy told delegates: Research shows that destinations are one of the key reasons why people cruise, so I’m going to talk about our summer deployment for 2026, which actually went on sale this week. I’ll start off by showing you a quick presentation.
There are lots of fabulous destinations for your customers to travel to in 2026. Some of the highlights include three ships sailing in Alaska, including the beautiful Edge series ship, Edge. Its outward-facing design is perfect for taking in the breathtaking scenery in Alaska. We also have Beyond, which will be sailing around the Caribbean, offering seven-night cruises, and Reflection, doing three and four-night cruises for customers who prefer shorter trips while they’re in Florida.
In Europe, we will have seven ships sailing in 2026, which is absolutely fantastic. Additionally, Millennium will be sailing in Japan in the summer of 2026. Some key points include our newest ship, Celebrity Excel, which is currently being built and will be launched next November. Initially, she will sail in the Caribbean, before coming to Europe in 2026. This means we will have three Edge series ships in Europe that year: Apex sailing out of Southampton, and Edge sailing in the Mediterranean along with Celebrity Excel. We will also have Silhouette sailing around Iceland, doing six seven-night sailings in July 2026. For anyone who has been to Iceland, I know Alan Spring is a big advocate for it; it’s absolutely stunning. I was there myself last year.
Regarding Japan, we will be sailing out of the new city terminal in Tokyo, which is conveniently nearer to the airport and the city, making it much better for your customers.
This is our current campaign, which launched this week. Again, when it comes to value, there’s great value in cruising, with up to 75% off the second guest, covering sailings right up until 2027.
