Chris Sununu will assume leadership of Airlines for America as the next president and CEO on September 9.

A4A’s member airlines include major companies such as Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, and United Airlines.

Among the issues facing the new CEo is the ongoing uncertainty over the Dublin airport passenger cap.

Nick Calio will remain as CEO Emeritus through the end of 2025, focusing on legacy initiatives.

Sununu’s background includes engineering and leadership roles in both the ski resort industry and New Hampshire politics.

Industry leaders express their support for Sununu’s vision in advancing aviation safety and modernizing air traffic control systems.
