A4E airlines call for escalation of SAF production

At the Airlines4Europe briefing in Brussels, 17 leading European airline groups are calling for policy makers to commit to action for more sustainable and efficient flights.

The CEOs, including Ryanair’s Michael O’Leary, emphasised the need for changes to reduce red tape and make the sector more competitive

They called for airspace reform for more efficient flying and reduced delays and emissions

The airlines will make a pledge to ensure the industry is connected, dependable, modern, sustainable, and available to all

A4E member airlines are focusing on competitive decarbonisation, investing in new technology and Sustainable Aviation Fuels

They will work with stakeholders to create a more seamless and efficient European airspace, as well as pushing for a Europe-wide passenger protection proposal and keeping aviation available for all.
