uraniaA4E Managing Director Ourania Georgoutsakou has joined the debate on Dublin Airport’s passenger cap, saying the airport faces risks related to connectivity, investment, and economic growth due to delays in addressing the passenger cap.

The ongoing passenger cap at Dublin Airport is causing uncertainty for airlines, which need to plan their flight schedules months in advance.

While the Government has committed to lifting the cap, airlines currently require clarity to proceed effectively; winter scheduling is set to begin in May 2025.

Georgoutsakou urged the new minister to act quickly to avoid further disruptions in airline planning and ensure the airport’s operational effectiveness.
