The pilots’ union has warned of “dire consequences” and threatened extended industrial action at Aer Lingus if talks at the Labour Court this afternoon do not result in a breakthrough.

An estimated 122 flight cancellations are expected this week due to the ongoing pay dispute between pilots and the airline

Talks get under way this morning under the auspices of the Labour Court.
